Muff Potter Research Paper

Tom should tell the sheriff about the murder. Some reasons are that it is bothering Tom not telling the sheriff who was the actual murderer, it would be wrong for a innocent man to get hanged for a crime they did not commit, and it is also bad for a murder to be on the loose on the streets because he can commit more crimes. Some people would say that he should not tell because he could get killed or because he took an oath not to tell anyone, but even though he took that oath and could possibly get hurt or killed it is best for him to tell because what Injun Joe did was wrong and he should be punished for his actions and not Muff Potter who was accused for the crime.

I like how you mentioned that Hermione's problem with Rita is more than an annoyance. Hermione has a strong connection with text and literature, and I think the intelligence she gains from reading is a source of her confidence. Rita misuses text to manipulate people. I see how that would personally affect Hermione because literature has helped her in several aspects, but Rita is using it to degrade people and spread lies. It definitely helps further explain why Hermione was upset with Rita and I am glad you pointed that…
