(Proposing a Solution to the Prodigal Son)
King James Published his Bible in 1611, which became the single most important work of literature that was immensely important in standardizing the English language. In this bible, there is a certain parable that has a lot of meaning and is still being taught in literature today. This parable, Prodigal Son has a tremendous amount of lessons taught and many meanings behind it. These meanings lie within the problems within the story, which there are a lot of too. Of these problems, the most important seems to be the issue in which the father gives his son a huge amount of money, about ten thousand dollars, in which his sons spends in careless ways. This should have been an automatic indicator that he wasn't going to do anything great with the money. Once he asked for it and received it, he didn't hesitate to get up and leave home. It was clear that the son hadn't been that thankful for the money once he got it. He spent it so carelessly and once it was gone, he then started to realize that it had been much more important than he thought. However, it was not until it was too late that the son had realized he had been so stupid with the money.
In the end, the story the Prodigal Son there are clearly a lot of problems, but the most prominent would be the issue of the dad handing over the large amount of money to his youngest son. The reasons being, the son was appreciative, it caused issues with the older son who worked for things most of his life and finally because the son did not spend his money very wisely and wasted it on things that he shouldn't have.
