Much Ado About Nothing Trickery Analysis

On the book Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare is an excellent play and comedy. I am excellent to talk about trickery and deceit in the story. Trickery was used to generate Beatrice and Benedick to fall in love with one another and making them think that they have feelings for each other, Hero and her family lied to Claudio that she has died, and also that Leonato explained to Claudio think that he was gonna marry Beatrice because of what he did to Leonato’s daughter Hero. Deception is used in the story by Don Pedro plans to woo Lady Hero on Claudio’s behalf, disguising himself with a mask at the masquerade later on. In this quotation, Leonato has expected Claudio to prepare up for Hero’s death by agreeing to marry his “ niece”, which happens to actually be Hero. Claudio has agreed to this because he feels guilty for accusing Hero of being disloyal and feels guilty for her death. This quotation is influential by reason of it shows us that Leonato makes Claudio think that he is going to marry Beatrice but it’s actually Hero.
