Around the time Ms. Diane was in nursing school Cleveland State Community College had a clean reputation for passing the boards; they would wash out anyone whose classroom and clinicals scores were not satisfying standing. To be classified as satisfying in the nursing program one must have A’s and B’s in clinicals and classroom work. Only thirty-five out of eighty whom started the class finished and graduated with their associates degree in nursing.
