Mrs. Zeman's Case Study

After obtaining consent from M.Z to release information to her mother, Dr. Coulter and I returned Mrs. Zeman's phone call.
Mrs. Zeman expressed concerns for her daughter while asking for advice regarding her daughters symptoms of feeling homesick to Kutztown not "clicking for her". Mrs. Zeman reported receiving multiple phone calls throughout the week from M.Z who expresses these symptoms in an emotional way by constant crying.

Dr. Coulter and I expressed concern for M.Z stating she is seeking help and learning different strategies in therapy to cope with these feelings and emotions. I expressed coping mechanisms such as encouraging M.Z to give herself time to distress such as coloring, watching Netflix or practicing yoga. Encouraged
