Mickey Pearlman interviewed Mrs. Tillie Olsen, Pearlman explained how Olsen was a fantastic teacher also saying she is a great writer. Mrs. Olsen is very organized with time and energy. Perlman went on to say that Olsen did not have anything prepared as some writers might for an interview. Olsen had survived during wars, which resulted into three wars total during her time. She also survived during times when management was at a struggle dealing with labor. Olsen also was there when women’s rights were being dealt with.
