“He doesn’t suspect a thing,” Mrs. Mitty said.
She stood in a small room, the lights dimmed just enough so she could see. In the middle of the room was a wooden table and a chair on each end of it. A brighter light shining straight on the center of the table spread out across the room. Only a few feet away from Mrs. Mitty stood a man. He wore a black suit and tie with a pair of aviator sunglasses.
“Sit,” said the man in a frigidly. He gestured towards the chair on one end of the table. Mrs. Mitty smoothly pulled the chair out and sat on it. “We need to talk.”
“I’m telling you, Walter hadn’t the slightest clue. He thinks I’m at the hair salon and nothing more,” Mrs. Mitty told the man. She wondered how her husband was so foolish. Well, that was the reason she chose to marry him in the first place.
“That’s not what I called you here to to talk about,” The man said, pacing towards Mrs. Mitty. “Something went wrong at the base. All the files are gone, and adding to that, several members who work in that section went missing.”

Mitty stood in front of the door to leave her house. This would be the last time she was just Mrs. Mitty. Soon, all she would hear is agent Mitty being called out any place she went. This would be the last time in real civilization. After this, all she would see is the walls of the underground base. Most importantly, this would be the last time her life was normal. Everything was about to go back to the hectic life of a secret agent, working full time to complete every task she was given.
Before opening the door, she asked herself if the life she was about to go back to was the one she wanted to truly live. After a long period of thought, Mrs. Mitty made her decision. One hand reached out for the handle. Her fingers grasped it tightly, turning it so she could pull the door open. Agent Mitty slid out the door with her suitcase and closed it behind
