Mrs. Flower and Marguerite share a special relationship. Marguerite is a shy girl who will not talk, even if her life depended on it. Mrs. Flower was a rich and beautiful lady. Marguerite never actually seen the true beautiness in the world, she more or less just went through the motions. Mrs. Flower asked for Marguerite to carry her grocery bags home instead of her brother, Bailey. In doing so, Mrs. Flower gave Marguerite a life line, by showing her the importance of the spoken word. While they were walking back to Mrs. Flower's house a conversation arose. Mrs. Flower was describing how useful and important it is to speak.
