Mrs. Eileen Miller is a former resident at The House of Loreto. She was born and raised in the small city of Canton, Ohio. At the age of 19, she married Stanley Miller who recently passed away. She spent most of her life raising her 7 kids and working a part- time job as a secretary for Hercules Motor Company. She enjoys reading the daily newspaper, small articles in magazines and reading books. Even though she is 87 years old, she still as a young spirit and heart full of love and dedication. Her greatest inspiration was her loving husband and her kids. Learning about how deep was her love for her husband is a true inspiration for future generations of the meaning of true love. On the other side, my dad had a special humor. He always had something to say about something and he definitely had a personality similar as I do. I still remember how he used to call me “Piggie” because I guess he did not like calling me Eileen. I always felt a stronger connection with my dad and he was the person who I could always relied on. I feel really grateful that I had such caring and hardworking parents that taught me the greatest example of how live life. Certainly, they taught me to never settle for less and because of it I found an amazing man in my life who became my husband.
My most significant person in my life was definitely my husband and having the opportunity of getting to raise an amazing and caring family with him. Beyond any doubt, my kids are my greatest accomplishment. I am proud of saying that I raised 8 good kids with great heart, well educated, that have accomplished their goals and that are raising good kids. I could not have done it all without the help of my husband, Stanley, who recently passed away. I meet Stanley because he was really good friend with my brother Robert.
