• On 10/11/2015 at approximately 0850HRS Officer Jorge Jimenez got dispatched to 100 Soccer Lane, Midland, TX in reference to an Aggravated Assault.
• Upon his arrival at approximately 0854 HRS Officer Jimenez made contact with Mr. Ernest Wakefield (W/M/DOB 09/23/1954) near the picnic area who advised him that he was attacked by someone he knew with a bowie knife.
• Mr. Wakefield identified the suspect as Jace Dorner((W/M/DOB06/15/1992). Mr. Wakefield, who knew Mr. Dorner since he was a kid, received a call from the suspect the night before asking him for a $1000 loan. They both agreed to meet up at the above location the following day so he could deliver the money to him.
• Mr. Wakefield stated that Mr. Dorner had been having some issues
