1. Introduction:
Digital marketing is the term used to describe the way in which businesses, corporations and companies make use of technology in order to reach their specific target markets. They do this in order to draw attention to their brand or product and lead consumers into buying the product or service being promoted.
We did not always have technology at our finger tips to make life so much easier, and by businesses using technology to their advantage in marketing their brand name and image – they have made their business much easier to reach and access for customers when they wish to do so.

PriceApparel has influenced their success as a business overall. Mr. Price Apparel has a very good concept of keeping up with the latest trends in the fashion world. They do this while keeping their prices low and affordable at the same time which then gives them a competitive advantage over their competing retail stores. In June 2016 it was announced that the clothing retailer had an increase in revenue by 8.4% to R19.6 billion. With Mr. Price’s retail sales increasing by 8% to R18.7 billion despite the economies weak condition over the past while. (Jeftha, 2016) This was achieved by Mr. Price’s consistency in their low-cost fashion and on trend apparel sales.
It is known that Mr. Price Apparel targets the younger target market and therefore with the use of social media and technology, they directly market their brand using digital marketing as their medium. This brings a very good quality to Mr. Price as the generation of today, uses technology hugely in their daily lives and by Mr. Price apparel seeing this as an opportunity to promote their brand name and product. By doing so, they would have maximized their profitability in a very big way. (Anon, 2008)

“Has Mr. Price Apparel adapted their digital marketing strategies to suit their specific target market?”
