Who is your favorite god, goddess, or demigod? Mine is Heracles. People

usually know him as Hercules, the strongest man on earth who did many heroic

deeds. He fought The Nemean Lion and tamed Cerbeus. I believe that behind

real? It depends on your religion or if you just want to believe in him. Heracles is

Heracles is a demigod, which means he is half mortal (human) and half

God. Heracles’s dad is known for being the leader of all gods, the greatest among

them all, Zeus and his mom is mortal who was not very well known but she had a

very great amount of beauty, Alcmene. Zeus, who i think is a very shallow guy,

was already married to Hera, a goddess, but one day Zeus saw Alcmene and

her beauty immediately caught Zeus’s attention, so Zeus disguised himself as

Alcmene’s husband and he had an affair with her. Then Heracles was born. Hera

is the wife of Zeus so she did NOT like Heracles at all. One day Hera made

Heracles insane because she did not want Heracles to be happy with his wife and

3 children. This caused Heracles to kill his own family. Heracles felt very guilty

and devastated about this so he went to the oracle of Delphi , there the oracle

told him to go to King Eurytheus, there he would receive his 12 VERY

DIFFICULT labours.

Heracles had many difficult tasks from Slaying the Lernean Hydra to

Capturing the Bull of Crete. As Hera watched Heracles do his labours she thought

Section A Question 3: Why would the Greeks have a hero such as Heracles, in your opinion? I think that the Greeks would have a hero like Heracles for a few different reason. The first reason would be to encourage young men going off to war. I feel like Heracles really embodied the ideas of what it means to be a hero. When Heracles is off adventuring and doing the labors that he is burdened with, his personally and his morals grow with each task completed.…

Instead he strangles them.…
