Mr Pignati Monologue Analysis

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here today in memory of Mr. Pignati. Furthermore, let me tell you about him and what kind of person he was. Angelo Pignati was a very kind man who cared for me. As a matter of fact, Angelo Pignati would always welcome me into his home. In addition, I would remember going to the zoo with him and feeding Bobo. I come from a very unsteady home with parents that don’t really support me. As a result of that, it would always feel so delightful to always feel welcomed by Angelo Pignati. As a matter of fact, no matter what mood he was in, he would always make time for me. For example, when I would want to go to his house he would let me in with an open heart. Also Mr. Pignati would never keep secrets from me. I

For the entire book, Piggy has been ignored and not treated that well. Nobody cared about him or his ideas, but when he is dead, Ralph notices and realizes how important he was. Piggy's symbolism has become quite clear over the course of the book; he represents civilization. Golding, I believe, was trying to show how people take civilization for granted and that no one really appreciates until it's gone. Now with Piggy gone, the entire island is chaos.…

In the last few pages of his captivating novel, The Pigman, author Paul Zindel uses very heartbreaking and emotional techniques to create the events that lead up to the Pigman’s demise at the end of the story. The three main suspects I have for Mr. Pignati’s death are Norton, Bobo, and John. The first factor/character to cause Mr. Pignati’s death is Norton. One reason is that after he barged into Mr. Pignati’s house while John was throwing a party inside the house, he proceeded to trash Mr. Pignati’s place by smashing all of his pigs which angered John enough which caused the two to begin fighting.…

On a psychoanalytical level, what is the Beast? The Beast on the island is the manifestation of all the boys’ fears, both on a mental level as boys afraid of the dark, and also as the symbol of fear for the unknown that all of humanity bears. “‘I know there isn’t no beast—not with claws and all that, I mean—but I know there isn’t no fear, either.’ Piggy paused. ‘Unless—’ Ralph moved restlessly.…

I was over ecstatic when Fernando, (also known as Fernie) my best guy friend asked me to go on a walking adventure with him in our hometown of Kelseyville, California. We started off the day by walking in the forest alongside of Kelsey Creek. This forest has a really big meaning to Fernie and I, because we both love nature in every aspect and these walking adventures are not uncommon to us. Starting on the path we both got lost in our own thoughts, I got distracted by looking above me at the the canopy the tree branches created. My eyes followed the patterns the sunlight was creating as it broke through the leaves and cascaded onto the uneven forest floor.…

We think that John and Lorraine are guilty of contributing to the death of Mr. Pignati. They shouldn’t have taken advantage of an already fragile and lonely old man. His wife recently died and he had trusted John and Lorraine with his house and they destroyed it by having a party. When they decided to have the party and trash the place, he was so shocked and stunned which added to his stress. Not only did they have the party and trash his place, but they had allowed for someone(Norton) to destroy priceless memories of his deceased wife.…

Between John, Lorraine and Mr.Pignati’s relationship in The Pigman, there were a lot of factors that altogether they overcome. However, there is this one factor that really stood out and in my opinion, was the main one. There were man vs man problems, such as John and his parents, who he refers to as Bore and Old Lady, John and Norton, Lorraine and Mother, etc. There were man vs environment, such as Mr.Pignati and society (negligence), Lorraine, John, Norton and Dennis(outcasts),etc. There were man vs self, such as Mr.Pignati and his loneliness, John and his bad habits, Lorraine and her insecurity, etc.…

All they ever did was whisper; the cruel words cunningly sharpened into daggers, intent on causing him pain and anguish, all because of his uncontrollable circumstances. His name was Jacobi, and his story is forever imprinted in my character. Everyone believed he was somehow inferior to them because of the way he smelled or because of the tattered clothes in which he dressed, and so they judged him without ever truly knowing him. I remember trying to advise him not to fire back at their cunning remarks, though my words had little impact.…
