Mr Scrooge Character Analysis Essay

Mr.Scrooge is an old man that has a pointed nose, shriveled cheeks, red eyes, thin lips, a grating voice, and a wiry chin. Old Mr. Scrooge is a gloomy, hateful, moody, thoughtless old man that can’t stand anything that is bright, cheerful, charming, or pleasant. When Scrooge is hateful he has a good reason to be, the reason Scrooge is so hateful is because Marley died so he feels lonesome and miserable.I feel as though Scrooge has depression or a type of anxiety because he changes his mood a lot and he’s normally sad.On the other hand Scrooge could be bipolar which is when you have mood swings, your mood changes continuously it just can't stay the same, and you can't help it. One vision Scrooge sees is himself on his deathbed with his undertaker named Joe, an undertaker is a person that makes a living off of preparation of deceased people. He also hears the reflections of the people around him.Some of the reflections that Scrooge hears is upsetting to him, the ones that are upsetting are happy reflections were the people around him are happy for Scrooge’s death. The reason people are happy for Scrooge’s death is because they think he is a mean old man that should just deserves to die and even though some people are mean nobody in this world deserves to die.
