“And the Academy Award goes to Morgan Loos!” These are the words that I hope to eventually hear. My future goal is to become a well-known, professional actress. For as long as I can recollect, I have always wanted to be a performer. When I was younger, I would watch the Disney channel and wonder why I wasn't on one of the shows. It all started when I was about seven years old. I had a burning desire to be a singer, once I knew that making it a feasible career would be harder in reality than in my daydreams I realized I didn’t have the talent or drive to make that into a career. I did, however, realize that I had that drive and talent for acting.

The stage is a comfortable place for me. I love feeling the heat of the lights on my face. Backstage can be a calm and relaxing place, but also a very nerve racking place. I find it fascinating. Acting is something very special

During my freshman and sophomore years my mentor was Mr. Moll. He helped me to become more outgoing and taught me true determination. He made me fall deeply in love with the crazy world of acting. My junior year and senior year in high school I had a new mentor. Her name is Mrs.Hoge. She has taught me leadership and that things can’t always go how I would like them too. I am so grateful for my mentors past and present. I am very excited to find my new mentors and become one of my own.
During high school, I have been the Drama Club presidency for two years. I joined my junior year as the secretary with help from Mr.Moll. I loved it so much that I was elected president my senior year. Being in the presidency has taught me how to take control of my surroundings and how to get things accomplished no matter how difficult the task may seem.
