Mr. Grandy Should Be Held Responsible For His Own Death

In the movie “Dangerous Minds” directed by John .N Smith Emilio should be held responsible for his own death. In the real world we all have to die at some point, but really matters is how we chose to die. He knew he was in danger but he did not accept the help Ms. Johnson offered him. There could be other reasons behind the incident such as Mr. Grandy not choosing to let Emilio in because he did not knock on the door, and Angela could also be held responsible for his death because she did not clear things out with her ex-boyfriend and that got Emilio involved.
Firstly, Emilio is responsible for his own death. He should be held responsible because he was the one who made the wrong choices. Emilio always used violence, and violence is never the answer; because of violence he lost his life. “This guy is looking for me to kill me, the only way for me to stop him, is if I kill him first.” Clearly Emilio is always about violence. His wrong choices such as leaving the house in the morning without telling Ms. Johnson was one other reason which lead him to death. He does not have a second thought if the step e is about to take going to impact him or not. Grandy can be partially held responsible for Emilio’s death. Principal Grandy should have listened to Emilio; Emilio had never come willingly to the office, so there had to be a reason behind him coming. “Yes, Ms. Johnson. I’m trying to teach these kids how to live in the real world. And in the real world you just don’t burst into someone’s office.” Mr. Grandy wants to teach the children manners. Emilio should have put his ego and anger aside for the moment because he knew he was in danger and that was his only way to get rescued and stay out of trouble.
