The Rescue We were half way there, but the truck was running on fumes and it was bone chilling cold outside. The truck started to sputter and slowed to a halt, I look back at the passengers which were sound asleep. I roused them from their slumber and told them were walking to the nearest town which is forty miles away. I stuff as much food as I can into the small travel pack and we set out. We had been walking for a few miles and I already can't feel my hands or feet so we all decide to take shelter in a nearby forest. We made a small hut out of tree branches and twigs, I try and start a fire by rubbing two sticks together, but nothing happened so I lay down in the small hut and close my eyes. I was abruptly awoken by an ominous bellow from some sort of animal. I look outside the hut to see a pack of insidious wolves, they were slowly walking towards me so I grab a branch and start swinging it around which seemed to keep them at bay but more started to

Today I also saw a plane overhead, I'm not sure if he saw me but I'm hoping he did. I kept walking for a few hours and found a small shack next to a frozen pond so I went to investigate. As I got closer I started to smell what seems like rotting flesh. I have been waiting for the rescue helicopter for about one hour now and I just started to hear the helicopter overhead and I jumped up and start waving my hands. The helicopter lands next to me and I hop in and I was asked how long I had been out here and I responded with too

Hello Nosleep family. I'm writing to you tonight because I've experienced something grim in the last few days. This is the first time I've had access to anything connected to the internet since shortly after the "incident" began. I've been running on about four hours of fearful "rest" since about five days ago, so please forgive me if my recalling is scattered. I live in a small city of about 15,000 people.…

Nnneeaoowww. The small bush plane started up with ease as we pulled out from the the small cove on Nancy Lake. The plane bounced up and down, attempting to to get enough lift to take off on the water runway. Slowly gaining altitude, I felt my ears pop uncomfortably and adjust to the new altitude. Cutting through the air like a hot knife through butter, we began our short flight to Chelatna lake.…

It was a normal Saturday afternoon, I was playing in the sandbox with my brother, Tommy. We had a dull crimson shovel, which was rusty from all the countless days it has been left outside. The concrete jungle is thought of as many things by many people, but the sunset was definitely spectacular. Manhattan was more than enough for me, but I had to get out of the city. I moved to New jersey, just across the river to Newark, it was just close enough to preserve the beautiful sunset, but far enough to create a more peaceful, less hectic environment. My arrival to Newark was not ideal, I lived in a one room apartment with all of the necessities, but that is it. I worked at a pharmacy making slightly more than minimum wage, as the store made slightly more than it needed to remain in business.…

In mid October early in the morning the day was crisp and chill. The sun was just burning the morning fog off of the lakes cool waters. The dew on the grass and trees was glistening from the sunlight and the bird were singing their songs of jubilee . The entire woods were peaceful and still, and the sunrise was magnificent. During this moment I realized how beautiful nature is when the outside world is a distant memory, and all we need to do is take advantage of the little things life gives us and never stress the big ones too much.…
