Ringing bells and the sound of the ID cards swiping, I nervously walked in the middle school door seeing a teacher looking at my direction: “ Good morning! How are you feeling about your upcoming day?” the teacher said to me while smiling.
“ I’m kind of nervous about the M.A.P. test.” I said to the teacher.
“ Don’t worry, it will be alright. Just do your best.” The teacher said while walking away.
I thought about it and took a deep breathe smelling the freshly baked bread around the cafeteria. And the busy students walking upstairs. It’s the fourth week of school and the day of my first M.A.P. test. I walked up stairs to my locker struggling to open my lock then got my reading book, pencils erasers and walked down stairs to the library. While
