Mozart wrote and composed in all classical music genres. He composed hundreds of works. As the music genius he is, Mozart created over 50 symphonies, more than 20 operas, chamber and instrumental music, concertos for violin and piano, piano works, masses, songs and choral works, and a requiem, which was his final piece that was finished by one of his students. Mozart was the founder and creator of the classical forms of concerto for solo instrument and orchestra. Mozart’s most famous work is Eine kleine nachtmusik, it’s a Serenade for two violins, viola, cello, and double bass. Eine kleine nachtmusik was admired for its animated, lively, cheerful quality and its catchy melodies. Mozart also composed many operas, which were extremely popular, such as Don Giovanni and Le Nozze di Figaro. Another of Mozart’s greatest works is the clarinet concerto, it was completed the year of Mozart’s death, and it was considered his adieu to instrumental music. The clarinet concerto was also the first to be written by a major composer, except that Mozart did not compose it for the clarinet.
