“We’re moving!” said my parents, filling me with excitement. My parents have been deciding to move for a while and now the decision is finally settled. I loved Keller, the small area I’ve spent most of my best memories in, but I wanted a change. I saw it as a second chance at life. Our moving day was the week before the last day of school in 6th grade and I was so sad because this was probably the last day I would see my closest friends, but at the same time, I was also joyful and could not wait to move. I didn’t notice how much I would miss my school, my neighborhood, my friends, and simply everything until the day came to pass. My family and I had so much fun during the summer at my new house.
