When I Want To Attend College Essay

One of the biggest decisions I, along with any other high school senior, must make is where I would like to attend college. The university that I pick will have a massive impact on the way that my life shapes out over the next four years. College is a period of time where kids transition into becoming adults, and a senior must be careful to choose a school that will help them in this vulnerable time. Before I can choose which school is right for me, I must decide whether I would like to live at home next year and attend a local community college or move away. While there are many benefits to staying local during college, moving away to a college campus gives me the chance to grow spiritually, experience new things, and make new friendships. One thing I have been blessed with growing up is living in a Christian home. I have been going to church and learning about the Bible ever since I was born. While I am so thankful to have had a family to lay down that foundation for me, I am ready to really call my faith my own. While living at home, I may still be forced to go to church with my parents. However, at college I will meet people that come from all over the world and from very different backgrounds.
