If you decide to go home, are you able to take care of yourself without any help. If the answer is no, then it is time to move. I asked how they decided it was time to move and what steps they took to move forward with the process. The wife knew a friend who was a social worker for elderly people. He is not able to feed himself and is clearly uncomfortable. His children do not live far away, but would not be able to be there for him every day. Even though he might be able to live on his own for a while, I think it would be a safe decision to move him to an assisted living. The decision is more for the kids, so they feel better and are not worrying about him all the time. Obviously, his wife could take care of him, but that causes her to be the caregiver and might take her down. This happened to my grandparents. My grandfather needed help because of his surgeries and was not able to do certain things on his own. My grandmother helped him and took care of him 24/7, which caused her health to
