85 cents out of every dollar worth of treats that theaters sell is pure profit. Many people think that snacks sold at theaters are too expensive, but it’s against the rules to bring your own. Because of this, some people think it is ok to sneak in your own food so you do not have to misuse your whole paycheck on snacks. Concession stands only give out junk food, but some people desire other foods. The snacks that people buy at the theater is how the workers rake in the money, but is it beneficial to pay $5 for a bag of m&m’s? Modern day theaters have outrageous prices on their snacks and some people are not willing to pay that much, so they sneak in food.

If the theater is going to ban outside food, they should at least include foods that everyone would enjoy.
