Should people average citizens be allowed to sneak food or snacks into the movie theaters. Many of the snacks are three dollars but at stores they cost one dollar and some change.some people think its rude or wrong to sneak food into the movies but people with allergies will have to bring in their own food or the could just have an allergic reaction and sue the movie theater. Some people might have only enough money to get into the movies but not enough for all the food and drinks. People that bring in food might force the company to raise ticket prices.many people also think that it is very rude because you are supposed to buy food from the movie cause they have the price of movie tickets so low.many people

In class we discussed a case study called “The Theater Budget” about an organization called Greater Euclid Little Theater, which is a small group of adults staging performances. The organization changed after Cathy Cole, the then newly artistic director was appointed. After Cathy Cole, left her position, Andy Spaulding took on the position as an artistic director. In the case study provided, the case starts with the discussion on increasing salary pay for Any Spaulding, however many board members including Jane Dobbs, the Vice President for Administration and President-elect, David Price, President and Treasurer Nicky Counts all came with the agreement that they were unable to provide the amount of salary Spaulding wanted because of insufficient…

Westdale Movie Theatre is the only single screen theatre remaining in Hamilton (Wilson, 2012). It was built in the 1930s and is the only theatre constructed in that period to still continue to function as a cinema today (Wilson, 2012). The 1930s and 1940s were known as the golden days of movies; during this time there were over 20 movie theatres within Hamilton that served the public and consisted of theatre that were small and contained roughly 400 seats, to medium sized theatres that contained roughly 800 seats and larger theatres that contained roughly 2000 seats or more(Wilson, 2012). One of the reasons why this era was known as the golden days of movies was because it was during the time of the depression where people wanted to escape…

In Young v. New York City Transit Authority, the courts used different tests and relevant precedents to determine if begging and panhandling should be protected under the freedom of speech doctrine. The two-prong test was developed by the Supreme Court in Spence v. Washington to determine if expressive conduct was protected as a form of speech under the First Amendment. “The first prong of the test requires a court to determine whether there exists an intent to convey a “particularized message.” The second prong requires a determination as to whether the likelihood is great that the message being conveyed will be understood by those who are exposed to it” (Zur, 1992).…

    I. Attention-Getter: As early as the age of 5 I remember my parents taking me to my favorite place. As I walked in, I was overwhelmed by the smell of delicious food and the rows of free samples. I lugged my parents around with me and grabbed all the food I could- from chocolates to gummy snacks: I was in heaven. However, when I got older, my parents decided to try out a new but similar place.…

Would you rather pay the prices for theater snacks, or not have a theater at all? If people keep smuggling in their own food from home into theaters, they would be forced to shut down due to the fact that theaters wouldn’t be able to run without the profit made from the concession stand. I believe that bringing food from outside into theaters is not okay. When you bring outside food into the theater it can be disruptive, unfair to people working there, and can sometimes be illegal.…

They will achieve this by banning teens from entering during those specific hours. Many students have taken offense and started spreading leaflets near the restaurants to notify pedestrians of the restaurant's uncivil action. As a fellow teenager, I do not support the restaurant for banning teens.…

One reason why I think it is okay is some people may not be able to afford the cost of the food at the movies. When people go to the movies they want to buy popcorn to go along with an amazing movie, but some people may not have enough money to buy popcorn. For example, if someone only went to the movies with 10 dollars and it cost 8 dollars to get in, and they want to buy popcorn but it cost 3 dollars. They will not have enough money to buy the popcorn. Then they would just have to watch the movie with no food.…

The Importance of Landowners Duty of Care AMC theaters are doing the right thing, legally and ethically, by preventing masked people from entering their theaters. Considering the amount of theater shootings that have happened within recent years, it is completely reasonable for theaters to adapt to the new threats to those invited on the property. They have already banned any weapons, and at some theaters, even bags that could withhold weapons. No sane person was upset with those protocols because it ensured their safety, which only makes sense.…

Even though it seems obvious this is not a good idea it is there only option so they do not know any better. The convenience food is the easiest option for these people so logically if they were to have a store near them then they would go to that, but they don’t so they must go to the only option left for them. Perhaps you’re thinking of joining a theatre crew. You spent much of your childhood attending plays while getting captivated by the fantasy being brought to life before your very eyes and now you want to become part of it. While it is true that most who are in the theatre did join for this very reason, there are some points where the similarities of watching and participating detour into major differences. I preface this with a brief glimpse into my background. First off, I was not an actor.…
