Me Before You: An Interpreted Romantic Film

Me Before You Me Before You is an adapted romantic film from one of the bestselling novels of Jojo Moyes, a renowned English romance novelist, and is directed by Thea Sharrock, an English theater director, and film director. This film provides many interesting scenarios, the meaning of title itself “Me Before You” and demonstrates the unexpected romantic relationship that occurs in a small town in England between a young English woman and a wealthy paralyzed business man from London. Love between the couples who have different aspects, and how the story concludes itself. Sam Claflin and Emilia Clarke are suitable actors for the roles since Claflin is renowned for the role of Finnick, the superior ally of Everdeen in The Hunger Games, and Clarke is memorable with the role of Daenerys, the mother of dragons in Game of Thrones series. Emilia Clarke says that she feels Louisa role is much closer to her than her other characters, and she feels exited to get her hands on the role after reading the book. Sam Claflin sees the role of William is like a challenge and responsibility to him since he has never been assigned a role of handicap, therefore this is like his responsible to express how disabled people lives would be through the film, according to actor’s interview on YouTube …show more content…
