There are many different indications of how she could be seen as innocent. One of the ways the documentary shows how Amanda Knox could be seen as innocent is that it proves how the evidence could have been contaminated. The forensic analysts and investigators were very unorganized when gathering their evidence for the investigation. They rarely changed gloves or followed other parts of their protocol to ensure that everything was sterile, and to reduce the risk of contaminating evidence. The neglect of protocol could have caused contamination of Raffaele Sollecito’s DNA resulting in his DNA being found on Meredith Kercher’s broken bra clasp. The documentary also reveals some of the information that was not included in the media such as how there were two unidentified DNA samples on the bra clasp. This discovery raises the question of could one of those DNA samples be from the killer of Meredith Kercher proving that it was not Amanda Knox? The documentary also effectively indicates how Amanda Knox could be seen as guilty.
