The essential traits of the Great Man Theory are optimism, self-confidence, honesty, integrity and drive. Rodney’s dream was to make the world a better place with his inventions. Rodney had the drive to become successful hence, he decided to travel to Robot City alone to meet Big Weld and work for him. When Rodney arrived at Robot City, he was disappointed that he was not able to meet Big Weld to introduce his invention. However, Rodney did not just give up, he remained optimistic about the situation. With Rodney’s confidence as a leader, he gained the support of his friends to help him to beat Ratchet’s evil plans. When leading, I am used to delegating task to everyone such that they know what to do and how to do. This will ensure that everyone have a task to do instead of wandering around.
