Introduction:
The name of the movie I chose is Robots. My selected movie leader from Robots is Rodney Copperbottom. Rodney Copperbottom is voiced over by Ewan McGregor in the movie. The role of Rodney Copperbottom in the movie is an aspiring inventor and help Big Weld save the outmoded robots.

Leadership Concept 1 (DISC Profile)
The DISC profile of Rodney Copperbottom is high in determined. Rodney have strengths such as goal-oriented, determined and outspoken. Rodney always has a goal in mind. When he went to Robot City, he wanted to show Big Weld his invention and fulfill his dream. After realizing that Ratchet took over Big Weld Industries, his goal in mind was to help outmoded robots obtain spare parts to fix themselves. To do that Rodney …show more content…
The essential traits of the Great Man Theory are optimism, self-confidence, honesty, integrity and drive. Rodney’s dream was to make the world a better place with his inventions. Rodney had the drive to become successful hence, he decided to travel to Robot City alone to meet Big Weld and work for him. When Rodney arrived at Robot City, he was disappointed that he was not able to meet Big Weld to introduce his invention. However, Rodney did not just give up, he remained optimistic about the situation. With Rodney’s confidence as a leader, he gained the support of his friends to help him to beat Ratchet’s evil plans. Despite, being knocked down by many obstacles, Rodney never gave up and eventually with the help of Big Weld, they defeated Ratchet and continued providing spare parts for …show more content…
When leading, I am used to delegating task to everyone such that they know what to do and how to do. This will ensure that everyone have a task to do instead of wandering around. After ensuring that, I will start helping them with the tasks. After some time, I started to gain some respect from my juniors as I have proven myself to be trustable and reliable for them to follow
