Do you agree or disagree with the way Free Will and God’s Will was portrayed in the film?

Do you agree or disagree the way free will and God’s Will was portrayed in the film? No, I do not agree. Reasons I do not agree are because in the movie it shows that they have no free will, also it shows that everyone has a plan that the Chairman had given them, in addition people that fell in love can not be together due to the plan given by the Chairman.
First reason I do not agree with the way free will was portrayed in the movie is because in the movie it shows as they don’t have free will meaning the ability to choose whatever they want such as love, responsibility, guilt etc. An example from the movie is when the Chairman talks to David and David

This is not good because if something went wrong with the plan the Chairman would send agents (Angles) to approach the person with the plan and tell him what to do and if the person did not agree they would threaten to reset him. An example of this would be basically the whole movie because in the movie David is approached by the agents and they threaten to reset him if he didn’t do what they told him to do.
Final reason I do not agree with the way free will and God’s will is portrayed in the movie is because if someone fell in love and was not supposed to because it did not show in the plan they are forced to leave each other and never see, talk and meet each other ever again. I disagree with this because in the Bible at 1 John 13:34 it says: “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” This is saying that you shouldn’t be scared to chase the ones you love and don’t let anything force you to leave the ones you love.
To sum up everything, I disagree with the way free will and God’s will is portrayed in the movie because in the movie the people do not have free will and also it shows that everyone has a plan that the Chairman had given them, finally people that fell in love can not be together due to the plan given by the

The Matrix did constitute an argument that our ordinary knowledge claims are not really knowledge. In The Matrix, Keanu Reeves plays a computer programmer who leads a double life as a hacker called “Neo”. He thought himself living a normal life until one day he received a phone call from Morpheus, and is then told that reality is actually very different from what he, and most other people, perceives it to be. In the following sequence, Morpheus, the leader of the rebels, offered Neo a choice between two pills, with the assurance that the blue one would make him forget everything had happened and let him return to his former life, while the red one would let him understand who the reality truly is. After Neo swallowed the red one, he came to another world, where Morpheus tells him that human existence is merely a facade.…

The current debate around the openness of God is one that needs to be addressed as it is a debate that questions the very nature of God. This essay endeavours to look at the two opposing views and outline the main issues that are being debated. I will then look at why the issues being discussed are important for how we approach theology and Christian living. The two sides of the debate that we will be discussing are made up of those supporting ‘classical’ theism and those supporting ‘free will’ or ‘open’ theism.…

Free will is defined as the power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one’s own discretion. Two texts that I feel deal heavily with free will are Paradise Lost and Oroonoko. In Paradise Lost, Adam and Eve experience the struggle for free will with God, as they go through trials and eventually end up being removed from the Garden of Eden. In Oroonoko, is about an African man who is taken from his home along with his wife, and is forced into slavery. He then tries to escape from his newfound servitude, which ends in his death.…

Tiresias tells Oedipus that the prophecy made when he was born has come true and that he will “be detected in his very heart of home: his children’s father and their brother, son and husband to his mother, bed-rival to his father and assassin” (230).…

Free will is an extremely important concept in John Milton’s Paradise Lost that greatly impacts the fateful decision made by Adam and Eve. Many questions are raised in the face of a notion such as free will, which prompt the reader and Milton to understand God’s logic and Adam and Eve’s reasoning for turning their backs on it. God makes his new creations “just and right / sufficient to have stood, though free to fall,” and, therefore, obtain the explicitly stated ability to turn against God. The first instance of free will the reader sees is Satan’s decision to rebel against God and attempt to defeat Him and all of the angels that joined him in his efforts. Although God experiences this defiance and is forced to punish Satan for his…
