Everyone has a movie that they have sat down, watched, and thorough found themselves pleased with it. Whether it was the plot, the theme, the visual effect, or another aspect in which appealed to you, there was something in that movie that left you astounded and content. When choosing the movies I felt could best support one another, I knew almost instantly which two to choose, although my decision may be seen as slightly atypical. For example, many people do not take the time to analysis and see how The Dark Knight and The Patriot are a very similar movie. The Dark Knight, was a brilliant film directed by Christopher Nolan, produced by Emma and was released for the public to enjoy on July 18, 2008. There were many big name actors in this movie, such as Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, and Gary Oldman, but the list could go on. The film follows the basic flow of the action/thriller movie it is, however the effects that were used in the movie put it over the top. In the movie, Batman finds himself caught up in a battle with the Joker, within which the City of Gotham. Batman finds himself struggling to be the only one to save the city, so taking notice, Gotham get behind him to stand up to this …show more content…
While this movie is one based to historical, I found that is it also just as thrilling and action packed as The Dark Knight was. This one also features an all-star cast, like Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger (Yes, he is in both!), Jason Isaacs. At the beginning of the film Benjamin Martin, in the midst of the colonies gaining their independence from the King and Monarch, is suddenly dragged into a war he never wanted to have to fight in. Eventually, it’s as if he left all on his own to assemble his regiment and prepared them for battle. In the mean time of the fighting, he began to gain more and more support for his cause, and successful battles defeats become his driving
