When it comes to key environmental issues regarding the Lorax and Easter's end the both share a great deal of the same ones, but at the same time they both have there own separate ones. Even though the lorax is a fictional movie it does present real life environmental issues in the clip that we face today in real life. Some of the issues were deforestation, pollution of water and air, and animal drop/extinction. Easter's end starts off as an untouched island ragging with Rapa Nui trees across the land and also vast seabird colonies and fish such as tuna, mahi mahi, swordfish or kana kana, and seafood like lobster, shrimp and rape rape, a type of small lobster thriving in the water. Once settlers came to the island things took a turn for rather the worst then the better. With time the once great standing tall trees were cut down for building boats for fishing, housing for shelter, ropes, and anything else that the could utilizes it for. Now because they were people they needed to eat so the hunted the once vast colonies of birds and schools of fish that the island was rich. With the recklessness and uncanny control of the resources things became unsustainable which resulted in deforestation, climate change, and extinction of plants and
