One thing worth noting is that the movie used no CGI at all everything was practical effects. Between the amazing make up, downright disgusting props, and perfect lighting the movie is even scarier in my opinion. One member of the group takes a liking to it while the rest converse in the cabin. The member of the group fiddling with the book will be reffered to as glasses. A low angle shot from behind glasses makes him almost look like his looming over the book as if he is sinister. The lighting is about the same as we have been seeing up until this point but still leaves that erie look as if its always 7am and the fog hasn't cleared. The camera slowly makes its way closer towards glasses keeping the low angle and the omonious music makes it's return again. Volume of the music increases the closer we get to glasses and we get cuts to just above the book as glasses cuts the barbed wire. The clicks come through loud and clear and all of its to paint the pitcture that what he is doing is a big mistake. Shots from outside the cabin in the forrest cut in and out making you wonder what the hell? As more and more barbed wires get cut the more frequent the cuts and worst of all the camera starts to move. Music intensifies and builds tension and eventually the camera planeted in the forrest rushes towards the addict girl who was outside and collides with her. For a brief moment you don't know what to think you're tense and expecting something. With a low angle shot showcasing what is about to come spewing out the vomit pours out of her mouth.
