Lars and the Real Girl In the movie Lar and the Real Girl (2007), the character is depicting an extremely shy and eccentric young man, who is socially awkward. Lars’ brother, Gus and sister-in-law, Karin is concerned about Lars and had made many attempts to get him to come over to the house for dinner and socialize with them but each attempt was either rare or unsuccessfully. Therefore, when Lars surprised them with the announcement that he had a romantic relationship with a woman named Bianca. Gus and Karin were exceedingly excited to hear this great news; they prepared a beautiful dinner for the welcoming of their guest.
