Movie Analysis: Hieada's Friendship

A broken relationship leads to a young lady (Allison) looking for a roommate to share apartment responsibilities. In the process of Allison interviewing possible tenants, she is reminded of her relationship of her fiancé (Sam) from a picture on the hall and breaks down with crying and sorry. The new tenants walk in without Allison knowing and begin to inquire about the ad in the papers concerning roommate needed. The new roommate (Hieada) noticed that something was wrong with Allison and offered to console her with tea without any formal introduction, and because of her caring and compassion Hieada became her roommate. Hieada had a twin sister to drown accidently at the age of 9 years old and she took the blame for her sister’s death. Hieada never took the time to forgive herself for the guilty feeling of losing her sister, so without any mental help, she turned Allison’s life upside and the people who were involved in Alison life. The moral of the story is when Hieada took the room, she asked Alison were there ever any chance for her rekindling her relationship with her fiancée (Sam), and Alison told her no, but in the movie when Alison changes her mind and takes her fiancée back, Hieada’s personality disorder …show more content…
She had a nervous intention; she was clingy and over protective of Allison. Once Hieada established a relationship as Allison’s roommate, she takes their relationship as a bonded for life type of relationship. She became selfish in their relationship, which meant to her that no one else mattered and she and Alison would be friends for life and the thought of their relationship ending made her nervous about being alone, she carried around a fear of rejection which made vulnerable for depressive stages of low self esteem. Hieada’s clingy moods made it impossible for Allison to relax and have a normal friendship with her, these negative attribute made Alison aware that something else is going on with her
