I first start off with the Queen of Romance, the Romantic Movie. This genre, has no defined goal or story in mind, as long as there is blood and gore, that brings in the audience, and horror addicts. As with romantic movies, they share a common interest death, and love. But death is taken to a whole new level, with the introduction to murderers, and psychotic monsters. Other movies such as The Conjuring, have been rumored to conjure spirits, and demonic demons, leaving many people afraid to watch these movies. The rumors, can be thought of as a myth, but the truth we will never know. The theme changes, depending on the audience targeted, and the characters used. The story is usually the same as romantic, and progresses slowly to the final scene. One element, horror movies bring to the table, is the element of surprise. You can never expect the unexpected, and these movies do just that. They always have a secret to each movie, and a real life backstory at times, which further adds to the story, and makes everyone afraid. Nightmares become foes, and friendships become enemies, we are scared daily, and afraid to go to sleep with the light off. All thanks to Horror
