Movie Analysis: American Sniper

Decent Essays
My favorite movie is American Sniper due to I have always dreamed about being in the military services as a Navy Seal. In the movie American Sniper Chris Kyle was in the military in the US Navy Seal division. Now Chris remains the deadliest sniper in our U.S. military history due to having 160 confirmed kills out of 255. Chris gained a notoriety during the Iraq war for having his confirmed kills. Chris Kyle died while helping to protect his fellow veteran Eddie Ray. So Chris Kyle now remains the deadliest sniper in our U.S. military history. I would like to be known as a hero and known in our U.S. military history like Chris Kyle is.

Journal Entry The movie “A Time to Kill” is similar to the classic novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” as a white lawyer is defending an innocent African American man, but the predominantly white jury is the only obstacle that both men have of getting freedom and receiving true justice. The ending is where the two break apart as Carl Lee Hailey is pronounced innocent and gets to live, while Tom Tom Robinson ( still at court but believes that Atticus will fail) dies while trying to escape prison. Both the novel and film depicts how the justice system in the south is not fair as the jury cannot see beyond the skin colour of the accused. I believe that the actions that Carl Lee Hailey did was justified as the two rapists Billy Ray Cobb and Pete…

Based on author, Michael Shaara’s award winning novel, The Killer Angels, the film The Battle of Gettysburg made its debut on screen in the United States, on October 8, 1993. The film vividly depicts the epic three day battle of Gettysburg. Nearly identical to the novel, the film’s main focus is on the experiences of General Robert E. Lee, Lieutenant General James Longstreet, Colonel Joshua Chamberlain and Brig. When it comes to history, nothing can be one-hundred percent accurate, and this was the case with the film The Battle of Gettysburg. The film does its best as possibly as it can by getting as close to being accurate, which will have many historians agree with.…

I got extremely excited when I read your post because not many people have seen that movie which makes me sad because it is so hilarious. The movie I have chosen for a film analysis is called, San Andreas which relates to an environmental disaster that is unpredictable and results in a serious effect on the environment (Warner Bros. Pictures, 2015). The San Andreas shows one fascinating aspect of American disaster film that presents two apocalyptic, an earthquake and a tsunami by addressing the most-commonly portrayed environmental disaster. Along with showing the powerful natural disaster, this film concentrates on informing catastrophe and post-apocalyptic disaster. To begin with, the San Andreas is set in the city of Los Angeles, with San Francisco Bay Area and follows the story of San Andreas fault. The main character of this film is named Raymond Gaines, who is a helicopter…
