As mentioned above, not all movers in Dallas are cut equal; some of them are good, while others are not so good. You should not take your chances with not-so-good movers, so when hiring a mover, you must check the following:

Size of the truck: It is important to know what size of truck will a mover use to shift to things from your old house to your new house. A truck could be of any size between 20 feet and 53 feet. Which size of truck will be needed for your shifting would depend upon how many things you have.

Minimum time taken: This depends on from where you are moving your stuff and to which location, but generally the time taken for a local shifting can be anywhere between 1 hour and 3

Frustrating, yet insightful I found the Move Crisis in Philadelphia an interesting read. I continually drew parallels to today’s racial conflicts with the police and felt the outcome to be a result of years of combined stupidity and blind resolution. Every opportunity presented that could have been utilized to procure a positive outcome was botched. As Gatlung stated “social differentiation slowly takes on vertical characteristics with increasingly unequal exchange and these social facts would then be in search of social acts for their maintenance and cultural violence for their justification”.…

I instantly became so full of anger because my mother wanted to move us away again after only moving to Edinburg six years ago.…

Writing this gives me the opportunity to tell you what it was like when I was growing up in South Dallas. I can truly say that I enjoyed it! It wasn’t like the 9th Ward in New Orleans, Louisiana, but it was enough for me to grow up in a close knit family and a community environment that became personal among several classmates, church members, and school teachers. Also, at times, living in the hood became a nightmare. Always around 12 mid-nights, you could hear gun shots blasting like police sirens.…
