Actually, the Movemeber didn’t have a long history. It was originated from Melbourne, Australia in 2003. It is interesting that the reason why the sponsor began the Movemeber is because he thought there are many activities that focus on women’s sickness but there is nothing for man. Men is always hiding their sickness until it was really bad. Many people have the same opinion with him so that the Movemeber start to become popular around the world.

And one day, we suddenly found that Mr. Hazel donated money for himself and he said,” If teachers get the chance to shave the mustache, they can choose whether they want to on the final celebration.”
What’s, more, other three teachers donated the money later. Their action stimulated us to raise money for the Movemeber. Everyone in our group tried to save some money from daily spending. Jerry even donated 7 cents for his group.
The final celebration happened on December 8. Movember winners got the right to shave one teachers’ Moustache. Canace in Green Viper got the first place and our team Grey Sharks got the second. Sharon shaves the moustache as our team leader. Total donations of the Movember were 851.47 RMB!
This year’s Movemeber was a success. I hope that the Movemeber will keep going on in our school. And I hope that more and more people will notice the Movember and join

In the year 2010, Massachusetts passed a new law regarding Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) Reform. One of the provisions within this law is the “ban the box” provision. This particular part of the law bans both state and private employers from inquiring about criminal history on an initial job application, unless conviction information is mandatory for certain employers under state or federal law (Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination [MCDAD], 2010). This provision is a result of over 100 different community organizations and labor unions pushing for legislators to create policies that provide people with criminal records a fair chance in job application pools. The idea behind the “ban the box” provision is that the removal of conviction history from the initial application will help people with criminal records not feel discouraged when applying to jobs and it will also prevent employers from disqualifying suited applicants because of a checked criminal history box.…
