Move for hunger is a great foundation that was created by Adam Lowy in the summer of 2009. His family had owned a moving company in New Jersey for over 90 years which became a big part of his foundation. After many years of seeing so much food wasted when people moved, he decided that he was going to find a way to preserve it and reuse it which is how Move for Hunger came. Move for hunger is a great foundation that teams up with relocated companies across the country; this great organization (Move for Hunger) is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs. Their movers that are associated with this organization give the option to pick up the unwanted, non-perishable food items from the people’s homes that are moving to a new location and deliver it to the food banks that are in their local area.
