Mouse Nation: A Short Story

Man creates thumb-sized laptop, then gives it to his 10 year-old niece, Megan. Due to her mom's job, Megan is then required to spend the school year with her dad, whom lives in Oregon. Her uncle thinks it's a good idea to take the fragile thing with her, to preform "beta testing". Kicking and screaming she then leaves, unaware about the rodents with her in her suitcase. These guest traveled with her, to track the thumbtop, which they want in every mousehole in existence. Maintaining contact with Topmouse, the leader of Mouse Nation, they get a special agent sent to their location, to make contact with the human. They then have to work together, to make the thumbtop available to every mouse in existence.
