The mountain meadows massacre was a tragedy that happened in Cedar City, Utah September 7th to 11th 1857. This was the killing of roughly 120 immigrants that were coming from Arkansas to California. they were killed by mormons and the help of Paiute Indians. The immigrants came from Arkansas which is where I live

All of this was a very tragic. Because these immigrants just wanted to get a new start on life because they had gotten into a fight with the mormons. so the mormons must have hunted the immigrants down. Then the mormons caught up to the to the immigrants and then shot and killed them

If you were to kill like the mormons today in 2015 you would go to prison for most likely murder or homicide. they wanted to get a new start on life

But then all of the mormons and Indians showed up and killed all of them except for the kids. which all lived except for one who died of dehydration he gave the water to the younger children as you already know.

The reason that all of this started is because of a fight. This fight happened in Arkansas it was a feud between the mormons and the immigrants. This was just a really big fight that happened and it turned into a really big blood bath. The 7th of September was the big fight. Then they left for california and then on the 11th is when they were all killed.

if I were to do one illegal my mom would be very upset. It would also hurt my family. If something like that were to happen it would be very bad. Like I said it would never be good to kill someone. The only things that I ever kill are deer and squirrel. I just don’t get why the mormons would do all of that. all of that stuff was a brutal blood bath. If i did that I would hate myself for doing that.

Back then if you were to kill one person you could get by with it back then. If you kill a lot of people back then you would most likely get shot and killed or hung. But know if you were to kill someone you would go to prison. It is never good to kill someone I am a believer of

The sanctity of life begins when a person is in the womb because God created people in His own image and he created life. Jeremiah 1:5 states, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, And before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” People abuse the sanctity of life in mass shootings because they are murdering innocent people that God created. Murder is wrong because we should not kill according to the 10 Commandments.…

My position is against what Dudley and Stephens did to Parker. None of the men were willing to give up their lives because they felt Parker’s life was not as valuable since he was going to die anyway. They never consulted with him to see if he would be willing to make the sacrifice for the greater good of the rest. Even if Parker agreed, the act of the others would still not be justified. They should have waited to see if there would be a natural death so they would not need to take another person’s life.…

As John Morrison exclaimed,“It should be clear that the death penalty does just the opposite of promoting decency and respect for life... It can never be applied fairly.” Since the mid nineteenth century, inmates on death row have been murdered by a plethora of gruesome methods, such as venomous lethal injections, gas chambers, and electrocution. Although the number of death penalty verdicts are decreasing, flaws in the American judicial system have caused an increase in the amount of punishing wrongfully accused suspects to the death penalty.…
