According to the textbook (pg 423) states “ When climbing the mountain the ice starts to melt and it becomes dangerous.” For the climber it gets challenging for them when they are climbing because the ice is starting to melt melting and it also starts to get slippery and can cause the climber to fall. The ice melting can cause many accidents, they can probably slip and fall break their any parts of their body or even die because of the landing. ( pg 107) states “ I had a sore throat and it felt like the muscles and joints inside my skin had been replaced with broken glass.” The cold weather at base camp was affecting them it was very cold it can probably freeze them to death. Finally climbing Mount Everest is a bad idea because it is affecting the mountain. According to the textbook ( pg 422) say the mountain was being trashed because of overuse. Many people were going to visit the mountain and they would dump their trash anywhere they wanted and that's when it started to create a lot of trash there because of overuse. What is being done in Mount Everest is called carrying capacity.
