This festival is a celebration of the South’s Native American heritage. Tradition bearers will be sharing and educating visitors about the unique heritage of the Southeastern Indians, performers will be present as well as craftsmen and artists. Many can experience the thrill of seeing pottery being made and how a longbow is carved from a piece of wood. There are also activities for children to experience at the festival too such as; playing dress up, making a shell beaded necklace, engaging in a game of stickball and trying to play a game of Indian Twister.
