Reflection Paper
One of the most meaningful things about Motor Learning class is recording the videos with the group that the professor assigned the first day of class. Working as a group helps me to understand the material ten times better, and makes it easier to go through the whole process of the videos like knowing the right way of editing and recording. Being able to work with different people helps me to improve the way I take my notes in class and how to write down the most important things from the power points. Before every video, most of the time my team gets together to share our knowledge and create a better way of how to become creative with the videos, and make it easy for the audience to understand the material and skills. Also this strategy of working as a group helps me in a positive way, such as getting together to study and understand the terms and getting good grades. Motor learning in general is a positive class. During the past 2 months I have learned how to use the right concepts and terms that should perform in the skill. Memory and Stages of Learning are one of my favorite chapters in the book, because is related with my other Kinesiology classes. The quizzes that are known as RAPs are definitely helpful to prepare myself for the midterm and the final, after every quiz/ RAP we get an scratch card to share our knowledge, definitely six brains work better than one for sure. I like how competitive the scratch card get for all the groups. Every team wants to get at least 40 points to get extra credit on their quizzes. When it comes to feelings, I feel like the videos are really good, However, I prefer to work alone sometimes. I feel that everyone is busy with school and extra activities that sometimes get really hard to get together as a group. Also I feel like sometime the instructions are a bit difficult to understand when it comes to the videos or assignments. I think the professor makes these policies to make the student more responsible with their group work and individual
