The modern motivational theories deal with the facts, that surrounding affects the workers´ performance more significantly that the inner needs. Several theories exist, but in general, they describe how employee perceive their own input and who they compare the output with. There were defined two main factors affecting the motivation: goal setting theory and expectancy theory.

Sub- conclusion
This chapter of the paper describes the traits of a good leader and his roles in the company by using the theoretical methods and academic literature. The term modern leadership was described; consequently, we defined the personal traits of a good leader, his responsibilities and leadership styles he might apply, while working with his team. We also presented the modern leadership styles, which are constantly more demanded, because of the dynamic environment.
Although, the leadership styles and leader´s qualities described above should be ideal for the manager, the way he leads the employees is also dependant on their skills and the level of motivation. Therefore, to estimate, what leadership style would be the best for the chosen enterprise, we described the elements, which affect employees´ satisfaction and consequently their work dedication from different angles, by describing motivational theories used both in the past and present. Managers should know motivational theories, so they can manage the employees and their performance better. 6. Analysis of Hilton´s internal situation
This part of the paper follows the theoretical knowledge about leadership theory, gathered from the previous chapter of the report. However, now we are familiar with the theoretical basis of leadership, we will use that knowledge in the practice for evaluating and analyzing the internal situation in Hilton. The aim is to evaluate the data collected from the questionnaire, which was sent to the employees to find out about operation processes and working attitude of the general manager and consequently suggestions for improving the situation will be purposed.
6.1. Questionnaire & employees´ perception
Used questionnaire /see appendix/ consists of simple and understandable questions. The gathered answers provided us with the valuable information and we got the insight into the internal situation and working processes in DoubleTree by Hilton in Košice. Therefore, the following part of the paper explains why certain question was chosen and what the answers of the employees
