Jeffery locker is a notable motivational speaker with a self-help guide. For this reason, he co-authored a book called, "Teachings for a new world." The book speaks of human potential. It teaches methods of connecting with your loved ones. Obviously, Locker is a man of his word and took his own advice. Later, Locker went on to give a multitude of sermons on how to handle workplace stress. Locker was an adamant speaker on how success is built on hard work. He stated in one of his lectures, “Do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, without taking no for an answer.” Jeffrey Locker experienced great success being a motivational speaker. He truly loved his wife and children. Locker attempted to make sure their lavish lifestyle continued on without him in the picture. His love for his family was so strong, he was willing to take his life for their happiness. To have the ability to brutally kill yourself for the financial stability of your family is incredible. While Locker committed a selfless act within his own eyes, his family may not be as admirable. There is skepticism on whether or not his family knew about his plan. There are two separate emails showing convincible evidence that his wife knew about the suicide. To argue if her love for Jeffrey Locker is as grand is up for discussion. If Mrs. Locker knew her husband was going to kill himself to help keep her lavish lifestyle, she does not truly care for him. After Locker was found, the policed drove to the Hampton 's to alert Locker’s family. The police officers stated they felt uncomfortable because of the lack of emotion displayed by the Lockers. The most compelling evidence was that they didn’t seem shocked. The youngest daughter stated that she was going back to bed after the news was released. Minor was an out of work, drug addicted, homeless man. Minor had a record with past convictions of drug violations and burglary. Unfortunately, the night Minor met Locker will change his life forever. Consequently, Kenneth Minor was later convicted and charged with 20 years behind bars. This would be a fairly difficult case for Minor to prove his innocence. Minor is an African American man with a previous record. Minor killed an upper-class white male. Regardless of evidence, courtroom bias is going to take place. During the trial, many had different titles for minor; angel of death or the grim reaper. His accounts state that Locker asked Minor to kill him with a gun. After Minor spent Locker’s gun money on crack, he assisted Locker in his death by knife. Minor accounts that Locker had Minor hold the knife against the steering wheel, while Locker slammed his body against it several times. After the assault dozens of security cameras caught Minor withdrawing money from Locker’s ATM card. The prosecutor 's greatest conviction strategy was the forensic evidence stating that the event was a homicide. The medical examiner stated the angle of the knife was pointed down, which means it would be the angle that a person in the passenger seat could use to plunge into Locker’s heart.
