One of which was trying a time management calendar project. When creating my calendar I had planned an ideal schedule to the best of my ability. As life constantly reminds me that sometimes the ideals we have may not always work out. On two of the days I had intended to wake up and study at 7 before my son wakes up I ended up sleeping in. So I can truly hone in on some of my time management skills and etch my level of personal effectiveness. I believe is schedule is like a blueprint for your day, it is planned but… you may need to make

I can create memories by utilizing my photographic memory. By seeing something visually it automatically triggers some type of emotional connection. This has been helpful in understanding that is triggers my visual memory.

I also intend on making visual flashcards I have a photographic memory so it is easy for me to remember information when I have something visual to attach to meaning. For me I process information far more efficiently in a visual manner. Labeling things with words are not as effective as pictures for my learning style. Now when I combine my photographic memory with my ability to be a verbal learner such as visual flashcards with the definition of the word on the back it becomes a powerful learning tool for

Some parts of my schedule are flexible, such as class times and work days. Fitting homework and studying in when I’m not at work and building a routine that you can stick to, but are able to adjust if other important things come up. Before learning how to manage my time, I would easily get distracted and procrastinate but now I have learned how to get everything done in a timely manner. Also, before the course I would struggle to comprehend what my textbook said but thanks to the course, I now spend the time to reevaluate what I am reading to fully understand the material. Other helpful lessons I have learned from this class were how to take good, helpful notes and what kind of learner I am.…

Midterm Reflection As a freshman in college I thought I would be struggling miserably, surprisingly I am doing much better than I expected in my English 1303 course. In my premortem I had written that I would be procrastinating, the only problem is that instead of finishing my assignment in five minutes, I finish it an hour before class starts. However, this is because I have encountered issued I was unaware of; such as, family problems, distractions, and lack of time management skills. Personally, I only have the power to control one out of these three factors, which is time management, and I am proud to say that I am currently in the process of successfully working on that.…

Looking back on my semester, and my Global Mindset Inventory Assessment I can say based off of the parameters I set for myself, I could have been a lot better about ensuring that I achieve my goals and objectives. However, I think that by acknowledging the areas where I was the weakest/lacked the certain skillset needed, allowed for me to still have some personal growth in these areas. In my Assessment Plan, I had chosen to work on my Cosmopolitan Outlook (2.71), Interpersonal Empathy (2.83) and Global Business Savvy skills (1.38). I had originally chosen theses skills, because they were ones that I scored the lowest in, but also because I found them to be the ones that provided the best opportunity for personal growth in myself across my scoresheet.…
