To maintain a favorable grade in physical education 9 I learned to exert myself much harder than I was used to. With my prior knowledge of the difficulty of physical education 10 I know that without an already healthy lifestyle it would be extremely difficult to maintain a favorable grade. Fitness and Goal Setting Knowledge Fitness and goal setting have been the main topic of conversation in this class. Whether we need to work on legs or arms today, or what we are going to do in the future. I learned that it is better to do quantity over quality when it comes to fitness workouts, and that it is always important to stretch and warm up your muscles before a workout to ensure you do not strain any muscles. For goal setting, I learned that if you pick a specific goal that you wish to achieve, like say to reach +10 in the fitness flexibility test, you can keep working towards that goal step by step, or in this case number by number, to reach your goals efficiently. When reaching towards a goal, you cannot just make it in one try…

It is enhanced my experience about how good certain food can be for the body and at the same time destroy the body or vital organs. For example, citric is good detoxifying the liver and can at the same time erode the enamels of the teeth. It was hard for me to take account of what I ate and only measured after eating, before realizing that I either ate too much or too little. Unit one was my first diet intake with my Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of 2000; I consumed 1133 calories with balance of 867.…

I wanted to look into how a human can attain optimal health and what habits they must develop.…

Looking back on these goals, I wish that I would have chosen better dates for these to be completed by. Over the course of this class, I have learned many new things about diet, health, and proper nutrition for a long life. Without learning these very important things, I may have just continued on my old diet, which was not healthy in the least. I have now seen a real proper diet, complete with all different food groups and everything in between. I am grateful for this class, because otherwise, I would probably still have that unhealthy diet. Nutrition taught me a lot, and I am ready now to follow all that it taught me, and I think I have the knowledge now to teach the people around me about it too.…
