After completing this section of the test, my score was 117. This indicated that I should be aware of my tendency to focus on quantity over quality. It mentioned that I might do better in jobs that are routine and rely on speed rather than creativity for success. Currently, I am in a position where there is no change with the work or my performance. Before I came into this position about ten years ago, the program was in trouble. I work a juvenile assessment center (JAC) and when children under the age of 18 are arrested, they come into my building for the booking process. Juveniles are not placed in a jail facility for the initial intake paperwork. Once they are scored by a screener, the screen will determine if the child is able to go home or be place in secure detention. The program I run is a mental health and substance abuse program. Communication can be critical when collaborating with teams. Effective communication can be derived from several different such as written and verbal. In today’s time, technology has made it easier for communicating such as email, text messaging, web blogging and skype. It was interesting me to know the test revealed that my face-to-face communication style can be dominant, relaxed, attentive, open and friendly. Good
Leadership and Team Skills Leadership styles can change from organization to organization. Leaders can inspire others and can be driven by company vision and mission statements. Leaders can be caring and People often follow leaders strictly because of their charisma and winsome personalities. Leaders must offer more to their people than charm. Followers need competence and a sense of direction from their leaders. There is usually a purpose behind a great leader.
