The interviewee that I have for my interview regarding motivation is twenty-one-year-old Yamia Denny. Although her birth name is Yamia, she prefers to be called Mia. She is single, never married and does not have any children. Mia is of African American descent and resides in the Overbrook neighborhood of West Philadelphia. Currently, she works in the gift shop at The Franklin Institute on some weekdays but mostly during the weekends. During her days off from work she attends classes at The Community College of Philadelphia on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I went to John M. Patterson Elementary School. In this afterschool program we danced to music, played tag, and jumped rope.
Question 2: Please describe your current exercise and sport participation.
Mia: I currently do ballet, hip hop, and jazz at my local recreation center. In my introductory ballet class, I am learning how to improve my strength, flexibility, and coordination in a graceful manner. For my hip hop and jazz class, we are currently working on improving our body strength specifically lower legs as we are learning moves that require intensive foot work.

Mia: I have been participating in these classes for almost two years now.

Mia: I currently participate in ballet, hip hop, and jazz as I have been always interested in dancing as a young adult. Although I do prefer dancing to random music, I wanted to gain the proper knowledge and skills regarding these three genres.
