Motivation Affect My Future Career

In this essay I will be talking about motivation, and how it will affect my future career. We know that there are three different types of motivations and also types of behaviors. Motivations 1.0, 2.0, 2.1 but Daniel Pink says there is a fourth. Motivations 3.0, this motivation deals with intrinsic desire. Which, on the other hand the other motivations focus more on extrinsic. Motivation 3.0 is a more advanced type of behavior.
Daniel H. Pink himself writes that motivation 3.0 and type I behavior is the best suitable for everyone. By focusing on motivation 3.0 and type I, Daniel overlooks the deeper problems of the other motivations and behaviors. His research and findings are simple really. Autonomy which is the desire to direct our own live. We have mastery that is the urge to get better and be better at something that matters. The third essential which I personally can relate to and understand is purpose the yearning to do what we do in the service of something larger than ourselves. Which in comparison to the other types of motivation for example motivations 1.0, 2.0 ,2.1 they seem more basic, average, and behind. They don 't really get the job done. The amount of control I obtain could become more or less. It just depends on how far my dedication takes me. In his book Drive, Daniel H. Pink maintains that “The Motivation 3.0 operating system-the upgrade that’s needed to meet the new realities of how we organize, think about, and do what we do- depends on what I call Type I behavior.” (75). So basically Type I behavior is ignited by our inner desires. If my inner desires ignite my motivation, then it can go as far as I want it to and the control I have will grow.
